What It Takes to Be a Miss World? | Advice From Past Winners

This December the 70th anniversary of Miss World will be held in Puerto Rico and a number of past winners are expected to grace the Miss World 2021 final- a month long festival. In the 69 years of its existence, the pageant has evolved from being a mere beauty pageant to a global brand known for its charity work in almost every corner of the world with the motto “Beauty with a purpose”.

I have religiously followed the interviews of the Miss World winners ever since I started watching Miss World way back in 2002 and one of the most commonly asked questions in these interviews is- “What advice would you give to an aspiring Miss World?”

Other than the organization itself, probably a Miss World winner can give the most accurate answer to this question. Here are some important words of wisdom shared during interviews by some of the winners from the past 20 years.
